The First Building of Huaxia
Huaxia’s First Building is part of the Weihai Quarry Ecological Restoration Project. It is an iconic scenic spot in the Huaxia City Scenic Area and serves as a dramatic entrance into the scenic area. It is the largest archway in China and is a great location for memorable photos.
The First Building of Huaxia was built according to the existing terrain and served as the basis of the pit restoration. It emulates the archway style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The archway spans 86 meters from north to south and is 21 meters high. The archway is also a five-story and six-pillar style which sits west and faces to east. There are three white marble bridges on both sides and in front of the square, just like the Jinshui River in front of the Forbidden City.
